Caleb Williams talks about changing his look for the NFL Draft and why he’s not getting a haircut

We already know where Caleb Williams will end up come draft day. But what will he look like on the fateful day? Well, this exact question came up during his recent appearance on the Pivot podcast.

While referencing his current, more rustic appearance, Ryan Clark asked the top-level QB prospect if fans can expect any changes to his appearance on draft day. Caleb Williams, ever the fashionista, is currently in something of an in-between phase when it comes to his hair. With an unruly beard and overgrown mane, the Trojans QB admittedly didn’t look draft-ready. But that’s about to change, as he said:

“I’m going to keep my hair. I’m trying to grow my hair again. When I was younger, I had super long hair. So I’m letting it grow longer again than when I played in college. But I’ll get a shape to my beard that’s nice and sleek and all that. So I will be the first to be completely ready.”

Although he plans to keep his hair, Williams will sport a trimmed and much neater beard look when his name is called as the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In addition to his hair, people also seem very interested in the outfit he will wear as he takes his first steps in the big leagues.

What will Caleb Williams wear on Draft Day?

Caleb Williams has been shaking up the NFL world with his “fashion,” which includes a dress for a magazine shoot and pink nails at a basketball game. Not exactly pushing the boundaries of fashion, but it’s still a lot to stomach for some football fans. However, he has stoked the intrigue so much that those fans made outlandish claims about what he will wear on draft day, weeks before the fateful event.

Some bizarre outfit ideas included a long ruffled dress to match Young Thug’s album cover from his 2016 mixtape. Another was an AI-generated video of the 22-year-old in a leopard print jacket and pink pants. From laughing at the pink pants-leopard combo to saying “Wait until; y’all see the day suit and my lady dress,” in response to the Young Thug reference, Williams has, according to the Guardian, taken all the shots fired at him in stride. And no matter what he chooses to wear or how he decides to style his hair, he will still look like the first choice.
