In a video posted on April 20, Rome Odunze sat down with Chipotle for an interview, answering several questions about his football roots. The young Huskies’ WR explained how he faced disappointment when he first started playing at the age of six, but later discovered his love for it. Additionally, he was asked who his favorite player was growing up and his answer was unlike any other.

Odunze said, “I was seven, because when I was six I lost every match, but when I started winning I thought, ‘Man, this is actually kind of fun if we have a solid team.’ I was a big fan of Devin Hester. There is no design for what he did. He was literally playing on instinct and scoring touchdowns at a high level. I just thought it was so pure and interesting when I first saw it.Any NFL fan usually picks the likes of Tom Brady or the Manning brothers, but Odunze’s choice of Devin Hester proves he’s more into the magic of football than trophies and numbers. About joining Michael Penix Jr. spoken, Odunze said: “I’m a fan of the Raiders, and you know, being in my hometown, I’m already a big fan. I’m a very city-oriented young man, so I certainly wouldn’t mind donning that silver and learning from Davante Adams. Hopefully they can get my son Penix or someone out there swinging the ball too, that would be great.
